Hazaron mein mujhe sirf ek vo shaks chahiye,
Jo meri gair mauzudgi mein meri burai na sun sake..

Jane kis daur mein jayegi yeh aadat meri,
Roothna us se aur auron se ulajhte rehna..

Door jata raha vo har roz thoda thoda,
Mujhe to maut zindagi se zara lambi lagi..
